Students in Mrs. Berry's 6th grade ELAR class participate in a dynamic silent lesson to deepen understanding of Author's Purpose.

SMS students explored the art of Michelangelo and his contributions to the Italian Renaissance! They also learned about the term “bust”—a sculpture of a person from the chest up—and put their creativity to the test by sculpting their own busts of a person or animated character of their choice. Check out their amazing work!

Giving back to our community! ❤️ The Pirate Treasure Drill Team worked hard at the food bank, helping sort and distribute food to those in need. Throwback Thursday is always a good idea. Adv History students play “Telephone” to stay current on their concepts of industrialization. It’s a race against time as the last person must “telephone” the answer through each student in front of them before they can write it down on the white board. Lots of laughs and learning!
