This week, the CTE Advisory Committee, led by SISD CTE Coordinator Jody Cronin, met with community members and business partners to share exciting updates and gather valuable feedback on ways to strengthen, expand, and innovate our Career & Technical Education programs.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious luncheon prepared by Mrs. Pippin’s and Mrs. Swiech’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality students. An impressive showcase of their skills and professionalism.
The committee also toured our Health Science classrooms to see firsthand how Shepherd ISD is utilizing the JET Grant to equip students with state-of-the-art technology for the Patient Care Technician Certification program.
It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the incredible work happening in our CTE department and the meaningful opportunities being created for our students.
